Apparently, you're one of those people that think when rolling the dice and getting two sixes ten times in a row changes the odds of rolling two sixes the eleventh time.
I get "stupid" when the lottery rises over $150mm and purchase one $1 ticket. I figure that if the Good Lord wants me to win, one ticket is all I need. Plus, buying more tickets doesn't really change insurmountable probabilities.
But the one ticket buys me a little mental fun; pretending what I'd do with the lump sum if I had it in my grubby little hands. I could invest on my own and not with all the restrictions my company (due to the government) places on me.
